lol please can someone look at these photos and tell me this is anything but a ball before I phone the vet looking crazy 
My gelding had a swollen sheath yesterday (my fault I accidentally got cooling gel on it while putting it on his legs) anyway that was what caused my close up inspection of the area! The swelling has now gone but I can’t stop looking at this ‘ball’ now I appreciate it is very little I am thinking it could be scar tissue from castration?! It seems to be more prominent when he is resting a leg and not very visible when he’s not. He lets me feel it and I do feel that something is in there and it is rather ball shaped! He is 9 for context and castrated before I got him, going off a whim would say it was probably 2018?
He has had his sheath cleaned multiple times since I’ve owned him and no one has ever said anything about that, to be fair it is mostly visible when looking at him from between his back legs…..
