Last night whilst having a lesson in the indoor school my lovely hairy coblet tripped on thin air and fell quite badly down on both knees. Obviously I was then about 1 foot away from crashing down on the floor. But what did she do? She immediately sprung herself back up and not only that she then proceeded to kind of nudge me back into the saddle by shoving her head high up thus saving me from a fall.
Everyone watching was totally amazed by her actions and I was so very proud of her. She is such a honest little mare and I love her more every day.
I gave her a lovely massage after this and applied tea tree oil to her knees just to make sure she was ok.........and of course gave her some treats and carrots and so many cuddles I lost count.
So guys have your horses ever done anything like this before to save you?
