My new lickle ex-racehorse has arrived, but she needs a name! (photos)

Oooo she's lush, so very pretty, love her colour too!

Hmmm not really good with names but I'll have a stab anyway, she looks like a Jessica to me for some reason!

Told you I was rubbish at names!:o

She looks lovely. Mine ex racer is a Lilly and shes a right hooligan so that might mean its name related hooliganess! I think I prefer Flo. Good luck with her :)

Whilst at the yard this afternoon my OH text me saying call her Saphire, Saph for short so that's what i've done, it really suits her. Then i get back to see a load of you guys have suggested it too :D

Firewell, they so look so similar, she was a gorgeous mare. I hope this one turns out as nice :)

Cuppatea - what a coincidence, where was that? I hope she was behaving herself :p

Evelyn - my plan is to bring her on to a decent level (with eventing in mind) then maybe loan her out for a while to concentrate on Major. I was going to sell but i've decided if i keep hold of her i'll always know where she is and can always have her back if it goes wrong.

She has tonight done 3 minutes on the lunge, had a tail wash and worn a saddle - clever mare!
 
I think -due to here lovely cloudy colour- i would go with either Sky or Quill as she looks light and beautiful.

That is the fattest racehorse I have ever seen!!!! I'm amazed.
 
So glad to see you have chosen the name "Sapphire" I thought it would really suit her, such a beautiful girl needed a special name, I too have a little race horse about her size he is called Romeo, very apt as he does like the girls!
