Yesterday we took Jack to his first show since being with us, and Josh's first show aswell. We just went for fun classes but this morning i thought i would attempt the class in the main ring for some feedback, so we entered the shetland/mini class. And WE WON !!!! :)

Then it was Josh's turn and he was promptly spruced up ready for his show, just a shame we forgot his belt :)

it was cold, rainy, hailing and generally horrid. Poor josh was freezing but we did the handsome gelding class and Joshie came 4th then the best 6legs and we came 2nd, amd Fancy dress he got a first - i was so proud of him, he got fed up towards the last class (he is only 5 and wanted to play in the mud LOL) but he was brave enough to ride for the fancy dress (hes lost some confidence since falling off :( )

So we had a lovely day and lots of lovely piccies to treasure

Soooo gorgeous ! Your little boy is just lovely, what a cheeky little face. The two of them make a good team, shettie's very sweet too.

Thank you. Im in love with the photo :)
Josh adores his pony, he loves to spend time in his little woodchip paddock with him just stroking him and talking to him. I often hide amd listen to him and he tells him what hes done at school etc, hes the same with our cat :) (he wont tell me or hubby about his day LOL)

But he has lost confidence riding him. The other week he fell of twice. Pony has a little buck on him but he can sit that fine. Its the typical cheeky pony head down he cant sit to, even with the daisy rein. So at the moment were getting him on once a week for a potter.

He can lead him round at home and loves to help do haynets and water. Its a lovely partnership just a shame hes lost confience :(
