I had a H reg Ford transit horse box. Never let me know but I did replace the floor before I put my horse in it.

I would definately get it weighed. I had a K Reg that was 3.5 tonnes on the V5 document, but actually took it to a weighbridge and it weighed 4.2 with no horses on! When things were converted back then I think the rules were less rigid!
