I've used it before with great success. Took my ish from sluggish (who was on oats) to super responsive. Pretty much within a week, it stinks tho and I struggled to get him a eat it!
It's got iron in it from what I remember (may be wrong?) I got it him as I'd just got him from Ireland and he was a bit poor and looked a bit anaemic so I think this is why it worked.
Does it give them forward responsive energy? Or bronking energy? My pony used to bronk a lot but hasn't done for a long while - just don't want him to go back to his naughty 5yo stage again!
I wanted to use one of the pastes at the weekend for an added bit of energy at a particularly hard competition but was put off by the fact it said feed 1.5 to 2 hrs before on an empty stomach. What happens if it isn't fed on an empty stomach, is it just less effective or can it have a negative effect? Also can they eat immediately after it has been fed?
Tried it for a couple of months can't say it really work plus had trouble with my mare not wanting to eat it....... And she would eat the doormat if you would let her
