I haven't clipped yet, will need to soon though. Would love to see pic of the stars! Did you use a stencil or do it by hand??

Was not intending to clip for a month as most of my rugs are still away being washed - yes I know I left it too late!!! - but he is coming back into work after 3 months off and the wobbly grass belly he has developed is not coming off as quickly as I had hoped and he is sweating buckets with only light work so I may have to do some sort of clip this weekend that will deal with the sweaty bits without him needing too much rugging! I feel something very individual coming on.....

I have the same problem as you, hence why I do my own style of half clip and will not be over rugging this year either.

Please do not late me for being cruel anyone

I will take a pic of the stars later when I ride (got a big full belly from lunch at the moment!)

I used one of the stencils, and chalked the edges but it rubs off really easily so had to do a bit of improv!

Note, also, SPACE THE STARS OUT! I clipped them as they are on the stencil, Ie a big one and 2 little ones on the thing, but my tongue was hanging out whilst clipping trying to miss one or the other!

Clipped my boy on Sunday. I now have a totally naked Section D!
My boy gets terrible eczema though so I have to take it off before the longer hair starts coming through.

That must have been so frustrating! I have been told once she is sedated and has been clipped for the first time she will be more relaxed the next time.... is this true?

my clippers ran out of charge halfway through doing my boy's 1st ever clip today but luckily i'd only taken a little bit off anyway and he has fine hair so not very noticeable. gonna take the lot off tomorrow. fed up of waiting hours for him to dry off after riding - hope he doesn't buck me off!
