This is my new boy. Five year old anglo arab.

I'm not even going to tell you what his current name is, but let's just say I'm not prepared to shout it across a field.

Anybody got any ideas for a new name for him?

AL-AHMAR means 'the bay'

EMIR means 'prince'

NALDO means 'strong' quite like it

sorry useless but yeah im **** with names and these were on google lol.

i cant decide what he looks like......

sorry kind of pointless reply but im bored hehe

I've got a think for the name 'Mr Nice Guy' at the moment... stable names 'Ted' for some reason

go on tell us what hes called?!!!!!

Tell us what his current name is pleeeease! And his passport name if he has one? I changed my new boy's name from Bertie to Cooper cuz his passport name is Comer Coal.

he looks like a Barney to me. No idea why, he just does.
Name of sire? dam? Do you want a show name or just a stable name, or both?
Go on, what's his name. Bearing in mind that i've bought horses who rejoiced in the names Fergus (who became Freddie), Suki (who became Doris) and, wait for it.... Gazza (who became Oddy.) If it's worse than Gazza, I'll eat my hat!

OK, OK his name's Clint ...

He's by Turning Point out of Frogarth's Magic Lady. He doesn't have a 'posh' name as she never got around to registering him. At the moment, I'm just looking for something to call him on a daily basis!! I'll worry about a show name later ...

What about Magic? Show name could be Just Magic :)

Or.....

Harry (as in Harry potter)
Hagrid :D (as in HP)
Wiz (short for Wizard)
Twist

Sorry, I'm rubbish!

toby suits him. or jasper if you wanted something more fancy then ace suits him then for his show name it could be like ace of hearts or ace of spades.

sorry not much help, he is stunning btw (:

My fiancé said "I'm no good at choosing names... but 'Spiderman' is a good one". Haha!

I think Cruise (someone said Tom, then it made me think Tom Cruise, then I thought that your horse is quite handsome with dark hair. I do find Tom Cruise pretty annoying though!).

You could call him Roux which is French for 'bay' and sounds nice too.

Froglet
Garth
Benny

OK, quite like Casper ... and Cruise is good, although my son made a face when I suggested it ... not QUITE there yet, he's still getting called New Boy or His Lordship!

Problem is, he does know his name - he does come to Clint ... oh dear ...

He reminds me of a pony I know called Jerry. However if he responds to Clint then a rhyming one would get an immediate response not sure I would be wanting to call a horse smint though! I am sure he will very quickly respond to a new name. Mine responds to multiple "interesting" names which probably gives the game away that we are not always on good terms!!

I also like:

Toby
Mister
Loxley
Harry
Harley

Perhaps avoid Barney that's what my new one is called and we still have not heard the end of the flintstone jokes yet.
