Looking at horse for sale, it was fed a small amount of pony nuts with a fare amount of bright green granule, almost looked glittery, before being exercised. When asked what it was, told just a supplement. Any thoughts?

So the horse is being treated for ulcers, presume this has been disclosed as the horse is for sale? Bit strange if they said it was a supplement, may sound alarm bells for other things?

The sucralfate I used was a white powder, like icing sugar. I imagine it comes in different forms though.
I’d just ask outright what it is for. They obviously didn’t try and hide the fact they used it and I think it’s a reasonable question to ask. After all we all feed supplements so help with something we are a bit concerned about so a potential buyer would have a perfect right to ask.
