im in most need of your horses photos!
all owners out there that have a chestnut or grey horse post a good quailty photo of there head.

I need them to practise my art work on pleasee!!

Please don't take this the wrong way - but isn't this about the fourth time you have asked for pictures to draw from.

If you want to exhibit I thought there were new rules now that said you had to own the copyright on the photo?

I think you would be better of just getting a camera and going out to a few shows.
 
yes it is! although no one is sending very good photos!
No the rule is i cant advertise or anything here i am asking for other users help!
and they own the photos and they are allowing me to use them, when i say show photos i mean photos they may have taken while at shows!

Oh and show seasons dont start just yet and i need photos now.. today..tonight not in the next through months!
 
Sorry - I think you are misunderstanding me. If you want to exhibit your paintings you will need to prove provenance of the photo which might prove difficult from a forum.

A cynic might just think this was a clever way of getting commissions without breaking the HHO advertising rule. After all if you paint/draw someone's horse they might like to buy the final result.

Cassie, if you are just looking to practice you can use any photo online anywhere- google is your oyster! You only need permission if you wish to publish the photos anywhere (eg put them anywhere at all online, or in print ect), no one is going to care if you are using them to practice at home purely for your own development!

Why do you need show photos in particular to practice from?
 
i have looked on google images and i cant find what i am after!

i just thought show photos would be good as horses would be ready for that camera if you get me, they are dressed up smartly.
 
Seriously, if all you want to do is practise - just find a professional show photographers site.

Just remember that you wont be able to sell on any of work you do from these paintings except to the original photo owners.

I am just having a little trouble justifying the cost at the moment but there are so many talented artists on HHO, there is no shortage of people to ask! But I want a really good oil painting - you know, the expensive kind!!
