I need a little bit of advice.
I dont have an instructer at the moment because i cant find one that i like, my YO is an instructer but i have made the mistake of using the yard instructer before and it all gets too involved and i dont like it. So i have been trying to do everything myself.
Everything is going really well, however recently, i dont know if it is the hot weather, my horse has become very heavy in my hand. I have tried doing raised trotting poles and things and lots of transitions but i just find that he isnt coming back on my seat enough, and is falling onto his forehand.
Im a bit out of ideas really and was just after some exercises i could try out.
Annother thing, he is ridden in a loose ring french link, which im not sure he totally likes, i tried him in a loose ring straight bar and he didnt like that at all. Ive also tried him in mylers but he didnt like that either.
I need something that is quite thin to fit in his small mouth , but i cant seem to find anything that is right for him. Where could i find a nice thin bit to try?
