WELL DONE ALL!!

Hope we can all enjoy good news and be updated as they hopefully improve.

Does this mean they will not be returned to the owners if they get better?

Oops, I actually meant who (as in organisation)is taking them rather than where they are actually going...

BHS i presume

No, I would imagine that they will go to a specialist rehabilitation centre, which the BHS are not.....

Hopefully we'll get updated tonight by the HHO members who are there.

No, i mean BHS will take them, not they will go to BHS

They're wanting to keep their destination out of the public eye i think!

BHS no longer have their own premises for rescues so more likely to go to nearest
big centre sorry my geography not great in that area

There is a lord after all, phew, well done everyone, thankfully a vet who will speak out and make a difference now to these ponies lives, wow that is brilliant news guys!

I just hope its not too late to restore a some health and happiness to these ponies and hopefully the owners will be brought to some justice even if it means educating them on how to look after animals better when they are old, sick and sorry.

Why do these animals (not just in this case) have to reach this condition, is it a case that owners can't afford to give the horses dental treatment or afford to have them PTS when they grow old?

I don't come on here often but was made aware of this from your face book group, and have been on here all day waiting for up- dates!!

And I have to say very well done to everyone who has been involved in helping them poor horses get rescued! Hopefully now they will get to love and care that they deserve bless them, also hopefully the BHS will continue to keep everyone up-dated!

Now this looks as if it's going to have some sort of happy ending (even if they only have a few days tlc before being pts) I've plucked up courage to look at the photos. I am appalled at the first vet's verdict that they weren't suffering, and question whether this vet should be in practice at all.

Once again, well done to everyone involved in their rescue, and in particular to Andy who set this ball rolling. Fingers crossed they spend tonight somewhere cosy with some nice food inside them.

Sorry I didn't see it.

I don't see the problem, either way is good!

[/ QUOTE ] putting another party in seems to be a waste of time for hte BHS.

Just Giving just seems more like a collective HHO donation than seperate ones to me, but each to their own!

[/ QUOTE ]I thought the BHS allowed oen to say who it was from.

Meh, am crying! What a bloody fantastic outcome.
Vet (who ever you are) First round is on me.
All the girls and boys who have persisted like terriers with rats.....WELL DONE YOU!!!!
All I can hope is they recover or at least are spared any more suffering!

Delighted to hear the news.

BHS have done a brilliant job.

I'm already a member, so can I please take this opportunity to encourage ALL of you to join the BHS as well.

Welfare is a big component of the BHS's work and as you have seen today, they really can make a difference.

sorry neglected to heap oddles and oodles of praise on all those who went to the field today and made this happen

The benefits of using Just Giving for a particular cause is that that 'cause' (in this case the BHS) can see immediately what the total donation was, rather than totting it up. And also the person responsible for setting up the Just Giving page is able to say how much is being donated, and what the final sum was.

It's a lovely idea. Please don't criticise it.
