are just a waste of money. Over the years I've spent plenty on numerous pairs of neoprene wellies in an effort to keep dry & warm through the winter at stables & all these boots have never lasted long. They all end up splitting on a crease or pulling away upper from the sole & thus letting in water. I've bought expensive & bought cheap & in between &none have been good & many alot worse.
I'm now reverting to plain wellingtons & thick socks but now I'm finding it hard to find proper rubber wellies. They all seem to be pvc or a mixture. Why can't the manufacturers leave things alone & adopt the adage "If it aint broke don't fix it". I suppose it's because old fashioned wellies last for years & they'd rather sell you a pair every 9 months or so.
