Thanks to my super-super wonderfull Mother in a million

who has become more than fed up with me buying/riding broken down cheap exracehorses that go lame/ill/whatever, I now have a lovely new horse to event for this season

The money has just gone through for him so have just got to tell everyone!

He is 8 years old, 16.2 bay by Pauldarys Top Tiger (Hill Farmer) cross a mare by a Grade A stallion Zarelquin, who is by the Dutch foundation sire Zeus, so he is a mixture of Thoroughbred, Irish, Anglo Arab and Selle Francias..

He has jumped BSJA to Newcomers, put had a few poles as he is very strong.. so major flatwork drilling is in order for the next few months.. He is very bold so hopefully he will make a nice eventer

but he is such fun to ride and I cannot wait to get him to some events!

Im so excited for you hon. Keep us posted on your progress please, and let me know where and when you are competing this year so i can come and support you guys.

LOL thank you BB's !! He's gorgeous, but the first time I hacked him out I couldnt even control him in trot ! But we've improved a fair bit since then, I was lucky to have him on a few weeks trial first

So hopefully, give us another few months and we will have control in all 3 phases *somehow* !

Baby horse got an injury and is being turned away for a year or so to have babies.am

but hey she is still only young so plenty of time for her to resume her career when she is older.

Hey V, wev'e seen no reports on the Snoopmeister for ages now!! How is he coming on? Are you on track for eventing next month?

The snoopmeister is off to Radway for stressage this weekend, addington the following weekend and down to essex with Tori and Winston the weekend after for team dressage.
Im not eventing this year SOB! I just dont have ANY money

Gonna concentrate on 6 year old classes instead, havent got a hope in hell against the likes of Valegro but hey ho.

Hes still as naughty as ever and tried to decapitate me yesterday by running to under the stables and then rearing up

Thanks- he sure is strong but he hasn't had any flatwork foundations put into him yet.. anyway it makes such a nice change to have a horse that flies everything, after trying to persuade Owen that all the jumps are not monstors waiting to jump out and eat him

I never went to Whitsbury in the end- heard a few suss rumours about working there. Oh and I got an email about the weatherbys job and no luck with that.. So I am still on the job hunt!

I will just have to see how we get on! If he turns out to be more of a mans ride I can always sell him on.. at least I can try and bring his flatwork along a bit..
 
OMG he is like identical to my 14.2hh I had!!! (strong, big canter, can bugger of and u can't stop, huge jump!) He will be amazing!!

Sorry to hear about the eventing!! That is such a bummer! Still, he is lovely with his dressage,especially with that lovely canter, so he will do really well I'll bet!...and yes even in the 6 year old classes!

Hey ho, means I dont have to worry about trying to find xc/sj and dressage training.

OH would like me to event, I may do a few unaffiliated ODEs Hambledon and MKEC run them plus Tweseldown so they are available if I want.
Im also thinking well if OH wants me to event he can pay or at least contribute!
I enjoy stressage and Snoopys medium trot is now looking pretty smart so we'll just keep plugging away

He might have to go in at Pre Novice and skip the Intro as he needs something to think about.. or perhaps I'd better do an few Intro's first.. am not sure yet will have to see how he goes!
Either way- hope to see some of you guys there!
