Hi.

I was thinking of buying one of the new Ifor Williams horse trailers but after hearing lots of bad stories about them being very flimsy and horses not only cutting themselves but actually making the sides and roof come apart when they rub I have now bought a Richardson which was more money but sooooooooo much better than the Ifor I looked at.

Has anybody else heard about these Ifor problems as my old one was great for years!

Also has anybody had a Richardson Advance for any period of times and although I have already bought it is there anything I should look out for?

Many thanks

I've got a new HB511, It's my first ever trailer and I love it! Only used it a few times but haven't had any problems yet (Touches wood frantically)!

Charlie is 16.2hh (with very high head carriage) and I have only traveled him on his own so far. There is plenty of room in it and he seems to travel quite well.

It's a lot lighter inside then the old Ifor Williams Trailers which is obviously better for the horses.

We have one in black. Beautiful, solid trailer. I can't image for a minute it falling to bits. Most certainly not flimsy! Pink likes to scrabble up the wall and it's held up fine.

We travel a 17hh HW hunter and a 15.2 HW cob in it no bother at all. Like Horse_Crazy2 said, it's much light and airy than the 510, so much more inviting.
