Hiya,
I’m needing a new pair of country boots that are long for the winter and unsure which ones to get. I currently have a pair of calf length Harry Hall ones and love them. They are on the cheaper end of the scale so I know they won’t last forever but they are very comfortable and I can wear them all day every day, on long dog walks and wet weather etc. I also like the fact that I can re wax them to get out scuffs on the leather.
I tried on a pair of Dublin River III yesterday and they actually hurt my feet on the outside sole due to the hardness of them. That was just from walking around my house for a few minutes.
Is this something anyone has experienced before? Is it something that goes away when they soften a bit?
It seemed it was due to hardness of the sole on the boot rather than the leather itself.
I would really like a pair of Dublins but not if they are going to hurt my feet so also now looking at Brogini Malito and Shires Moretta.
can’t afford Dubarrys ??
Thanks ??
