So excited lost my fab boy, golden retriever nearly two years ago but have just been offered australian shepherd puppy.I wanted to rescue and he has found me from horse connections.I need a crate big enough as that is what he is used to(I prefer to leave free but locked in kitchen)but dont want to change his routine too much.Where can I pick one up ,size and rough prices please.:D:D:D:D

Thought I might need fairly big one .He will be bigger than border collie but smaller than alsation.I have couple of pics on my phone i cant load but promise pics will follow he is seriously cute:D

Oh boy your in for some intense fun :D

Have you owned a Aussie before?

I also got my crate from Ebay.

Problem solved his owner is going to lend me his crate which is great as it will have his smells from home. She bred him and he was for her daughter but parent dog attacked him and she is very worried that he will continue to do it,rehoming puppy is best option rather than 6 year old .
Havent had Aussie before, last dog was golden retriever and had shelties when I grew up at home.We have agility calsses at my old yard which Im sure he will love once hes mature enough.I realise they need lots of training and excercise .Do you have Aussie your profile pic suggests one of them might be :D

Yes i do!
They are intense before. I had had collies before so thought i knew what i was getting myself into but they are a whole other ball game!
We are currently at 2 and a half hours of walks minimum and an hour of training every day.

wow I intend to take him with me when we go to yard twice a day.We have track all the way around our paddocks.Owner said her dogs were very laid back suppose its bit like a horse once you get them fit they ask more of you.I have tbx so know about high maintenance lol.
Any tips form you would be most welcome ;)have done little research and will continue but have been brought up with dogs.My mum and dad have just rescued sprocker so he can stay with them the one day a week I work.
Hes only 4 months clean in his crate , my kitchen and snug are all tiled so hes free to have roam about cant remember how long ity takes to toilet train:rolleyes:

Love to see some pics. of yours.
I havent had need to do clicker training before will have read up on it .He already sits and begs(not sure how I feel about begging) .My goldie was very obedient when my children were little but this one might need more constructive training lol
