New shape Ifor Williams ramp falling off..

They have not put it out for a recall yet and are uming and aaring over who will pay for the repair/replacement but both my friend and her farrier have had the same problem..Went to unload a horse and lowered the front ramp for it to fall on the floor..Both 2008 511's..Both of these trailers were recalled in 2009 for mould (twice) and gas struts on front ramps..Main dealer is in talks with Ifor over who is going to foot the bill..Check your trailers..

It's a shame the new models have such faults. They looked like an improvement looks wise on the previous...

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good! I had a 2008 511 but had no problems with it. Have sold it now though.

I am feeling pretty bad as i sold my friend her Ifor a few months ago...I hope they can sort it out without the customer having to foot the bill..

I had mega trouble with nose cone coming apart from by side ramp of 506, about 2009/2010 model, when swapped in for 511 as two large horses couple months ago told old nose cones were fibre glass or plastic. Now metal but IW didn't want to know about problem!
