Nicotine and dogs

Can nicotine do dogs any damage? As our JRT pup has eaten a whole strip of mum's nicorette tabs.

What strength (in mg) were the tablets and how many exactly has he eaten? Nicotine is extremely toxic in surprisingly low concentrations. Watch out for vomiting, racing heart beat and twitching/tremors - depending on the number of tablets eaten, I'd probably be off to the vet immediately.

he is fine and normal at the moment. So if anytrhing changes it'll have to be a trip down to the vets
