How about calling a vet and getting him gelded if you've no experience? IMO novices should not own stallions, they can be dangerous even in the most capable hands.
hehe seen your post had read and to tell truth thats the horse world for you yet some say ooooow i have some bitchy ppl on are yard yet this feels like a yard.......lol so far seen two ppl put off in away on here.
they are so bad because when a mare walks past, they may get 'randy' and they wont care about you standing in the way. get him cut, he wont feel it. it should be done correctly. tell us more details??
If he is a young horse then most books/DVDs on trainign young horses would probably usefull. It may also be worth keeping at a yard with someone who has experience with young horses/stallions/horse training etc. Whatever you do good luck
my girlfrind wanted a horse picked this one i bought it then caught her with the farrier we split up and i am left with him , and i have bocome attatched to him
still get him cut, or lease him do what ever but get help!! by the sounds of it, you have no idea what you are doing or going to do. so for the horses sake, do the right thing!
one u are winding this lot up as u wont tell them about the stallion and his age all your doing is telling us about ur ex. how about you give them more info on your boy.
I can promise you that your horse will actually be happier once gelded. He won't feel a thing during the operation, and afterwards he'll be able to lead a normal life.
Life as a stallion is unbearable, can you imagine having that amount of ... hormones and never be able to actually cover a mare?
