Is it me or is Norton Heath EC going down hill.

I can't believe how rude they spoke to me today - as a customer I'm shocked.

First advertising dates were incorrect in the Essex Rider but managed to get everything ready a week early. Yearling bathed, mane pulled, trimmed, plaited, trailer hired and attire bought.
Advised by schedule that classes in the afternoon not to start before 1pm, NH advised 30 mins per class and to arrive 4pm.
Called at 1.30pm to see how they were going - shouted/abrupt response of its finished classes are over. So aggressive and basically told me to f off!!

Now I understand and don't expect them to wait around just for me. But at least be polite, explain the situation and have time for your customers. So disappointed.

I really like norton Heath and on most occasions find the people really helpful but I do recall going sj with a friend and we were treated like dirt by the staff when we tried to organise a stable for the day I was utterly shocked by several of the staffs attitude tbh.
I don't notice it at dressage now as its really well organised and you just turn up for your time then go :)

Spoke to a friend who went to the showing there yesterday and numbers were horrifically low she did the ridden cob & ridden hunter and was the only one in each and when she called me @ 10.30am she was on her way home!!

I'm gutted that due to the problems with the showjumping they have had (its in the past but only now has it effected the calendar) that for the next month or so there is only the fortnightly tuesday show :( means having to travel miles every weekend and not getting that once a month break from the long drive.

I do really hope that NH doesnt go down hill and eventually disappear :(

The rude people are the reason why I will never jump there and this is coming from someone who was their head girl when tonie and bob brought the place, I think some bits are good about the place but everyone so rude

I really like it there. We stopped going some years back as huge entries meant hanging around for hours, but went back for the 3 day aff jumping show last December and also the amateur inter-nation show in April.

I've never had a problem with any staff, they've always been friendly and seem happy and Mr Norton Heath (Bob?) who often does the parking hails from the same area as my OH so they spend a good deal of time reminiscing !

I stand corrected on the shows...the weekend show schedule has appeared and is on!!! No totally gutted as fell off on monday evening and tore my ankle ligaments (again!!) so will be missing saturday and the last summer schedule tuesday :(

I must say i never have had a problem with rude people working there
