hi there... I'm looking for your collective knowledge and experience of nose bleeds.
My pony has a really light trickle nose bleed from.his left nostril only. Otherwise he is completely well and showing no other signs of being poorly.
He had it one day... then it completely stopped for a day then it started again and has trickled all day...not enough even to drip...just dries on his nose. It's been super hot. Both times it's started seems to have been when he's been wearing his grazing muzzle for the two hours they're on the long grass between 6 and 8am. Other than that he doesn't wear a muzzle but I don't know whether this is relevant or not. He's out with others and they often bite at each other. I'm quite worried about him...you always think the worst of course. If it was a scratch by a twig... shouldn't it have stopped by now?
Any thoughts? Thank you...
