My cushings mare was having a nosebleed when I brought her in for her tea tonight. It was by no means heavy - not even dripping - just a little trickle (and only from one nostril). She did used to get them occasionally back in her ridden days but now I'm so paranoid of everything and was wondering if they are a symptom of her cushings progressing?
Like the tumour/enlarged pituitary is getting bigger and causing pressure-increase?
This is the first one she's had for years, so I'm not worried yet
and will keep an eye out for more. I just want to know if other peoples' cushings horses have/had them or if the two are not likely to be related?
Thank you in advance.
