Doesn't seem to matter what I post and often they're similar to other posts but whereas other posters get loads of replies I hardly get any. I can deal with I am an adult after all but why and is it just me feels this way?

Runs away and hides......

It's not just you!!!!!!! Happens to me too!!!

Shall we just sit behind the sofa together and enjoy a bag of m&m's??!!!! :D :D :D

Nope happens to me all the time either nobody replies or I'm a post KILLER..:eek::D

Dont know really, its weird isnt it? I'll be your fwend tho, especially with a user name like Supertrooper, I own an Isuzu Trooper and she is a Super Trooper. My special car lol.

It depends what I post, sometimes I do sometimes I don't it also depends whose online and when I post it. I do notice some people do get tonnes of replies no matter what though.

dont think thats the reason, lot depends on who is on and if there is a thread thats getting lots of attention... you no one of the juicy catty ones with debates and choc going about.....then you just drop down the list very quickly.
Some i have done get hardly any response some gets loads.

keep putting on,oh think sometimes depends which section,, got loads of info from a mate who is on here, mine were in wrong sections lol

I often don't. I figure that either

I'm reasonably diplomatic, non confrontational, non attention seeking, non confrontational

or

I'm the most boring person in the world

As I think these two things amount to the same thing I guess I know why no one answers!

whith you on this one tooo i will come hide too thnk mine has got to do with bad spelling im sorry i struggle im rathe dyslexix arrrrre definalty carnt spell that one and people dont like bad sp :)

Funnily enough I was thinking the same!

It seems that if you post about rugs, you will always get replies as it seems to be a very popular subject for some unknown reason.

So watch out for my " Help, my Amigo/weatherbeeta/masta rug has a hole in it, what can I do?" sort of post and let's see what happens lol

I think it's the "strap Line" that is used, sometimes i don't click in to the post because the subject Strap Line doesn't entice me in, it's about a subject i have no idea about so i don't feel i can contribute or I have no interest in the subject. I don't even look at who posted it.

I don't even look at posts that are asking me "How Much" for my horse regardless of who has posted it. I don't know anything about Dressage so i don't bother with the posts...It's not a personal thing.

To be honest i quite like the fact only a few people normally respond to my posts with good answers before they turn in to a b1tch fest because someones spelling was wrong or other petty reasons to start a fight!!!

Do a post about fat people on weedy looking TB types, or photograph yourself hatless and wearing unsuitable footwear, jumping unsafe big fences on your incorrectly attired horse, and wait and see how popular your post becomes!

I find the same although some will deny it (usually those with more the 1000 posts;) ) however I don't think its deliberate snubbing of your or my post in most cases.

It's partly the subject (need a catchy title and a bit of controversy) but as in real life relationships the more you interact with others on a more personal level the more of a bond is formed and hence the more replies you will get - at least that is what I observe. Lots of people sort of chat over the forum - i.e. they have a conversation within a thread - sometimes nothing to do with the thread and then go on to PM each other and then they are more likely to respond to even a relatively "boring" post. Mostly I can't be bothered but I guess that is my loss.

I quite often post threads that get ignored or not many replies. Although on my posts i never offer chocolates or cakes maybe this is where im going wrong!!

Hey look how many replies you have had!!!!

Secrets to a popular thread:-

"I have rescued a horse in pain to increase his painful life to 20 yrs"

"I am a muppet who has no experience and nobody to ask about horses but I will be contraversial in response to any advice"

"What's your favourite colour........ever.......of anything"
