that's so tough to move from a very close yard to a different style one. Just on the hacking side, I know when I hack my competition horses I spend the time schooling on the roads and focusing, so would never ask someone to come with me. If I do want company I'd tend to pick a close friend for a proper chat. I think with covid a lot of people are struggling and just don't have the extra energy to give to other people if that makes sense. I know everyone on yards around here are feeling tense and miserable and just trying to spend time with their horses and get through the day.
