Having only just retired one horse for being permanently not quite right we're not having doubts about Lil. I have yet to have a ride where she hasn't reared with me. Some of it is clearly tantrums and nappiness but we're starting to wonder if there is pain in there somewhere as well. Our back woman is coming on Friday, not sure whether I want her to find something so we have a reason for the behaviour or if i want her to tell me there is nothing wrong
What would your gut feeling be if a horse reared and broncked every time you got on? She does settle and work nicely once she's stopped trying to kill you but its a little tedious and sooner or later she's going to get me off if this carries on.
