im in so much pian when i walk.
i wondered if anyone else has had this, what was it and how did you resolve it im only 20 so hopefully nothing serious

Do you know for definite its a trapped nerve or is that a guess?

I only ask because I had alot of pain in my hip and it turned out that it partially dislocates itself when I put too much strain on it, particularly if I jump or come out of the saddle for a gallop.

I had a few sessions with a McTimoney chiro and it really helped me.

the pain is when i put weight on it.
im guessing thats what it is i had one in my back and the shooting pain is the same i know i should go to the doctors but hoped it would go by its self but hasnt

Not in the hip, but have been dealing with same in my neck for a bit too long!
Doctor recommended private physio which has helped somewhat (private more intense than NHS)
Best of luck

Yes I get it every now and then, bloody painful it is too, mine is playing up at the moment, was so bad I could hardly walk at one point - I AM the Ibuprofen queen!

Ibuprofen will not help a trapped nerve. I take for my RSI 70mg of noratriptline and 900mg of pregabalin daily and this doesnt touch my back when i aggrevate it. I now take diazepam and diclofenac and thats not touching it either :(

Im afraid you can not really self diagnose a trapped nerve. Ive had mri and ct scans in the past to diagnose my prolapsed discs and impinged nerve. See your dr asap.
