i wish these happy-hackers would get orft the roads and ride around their own farms

Agree totally - and can you believe that some of these numpties and happy hackers actually pay to watch these pro's compete and therefore contribute to the winnings and thereby contributing to their grooms wages!!!!
I suggest we all boycott Burghley, Badminton etc immediately
I think, if you read back, you calling people "numpties" started the insults. If you give you must also be able to take.
Brush up on those reading comprehension skills and you'll notice no-one here is condoning any sort of cruelty. In fact, read carefully and you'll see people criticising the idea only competition horses need to be treated sensitively and that people who happily hack are somehow inferior to you.

Don't be daft, reading is for peasants
When one is considerably richer than others, one can pay someone else for reading - I expect they've gone back to their hovel for the evening though
While i agree that an accredited trainer is better, there are a hundred different ways to do things with horses and TBH TT you sound like you have your head so far up your own backside you aren't willing to learn, or even ask why people do certain things with their own horses. Just because you have learnt one way of doing things, dosen't make it right for every horse, and rather than slagging people off it is always better to ask and learn, and then possibly offer help in a situation that needs it. I have lost count of the amount of times i have loaded someone's horse at a show or helped someone warm up who's having trouble in the practice ring. you are doing NOTHING for your sport, and only serving to make it more elitist and unfriendly. You clearly have no social skills and aren't willing or able to help. If your so brilliant and actually care about these things why aren't you teaching your methods freelance and getting results from your clients, how about voulentering at the local pony club?. Everyone is entitled to have a go and do what they enjoy, and you never stop learning, which is what makes horses so interesting. Anyway, if your not a troll i really pity you,a s your life is clearly terrible.
I think there is one or two people on here with their heads up their arses ( Totilas Snobs) and should get off NORMAL peoples backs just because they dont use or groom somebody elses horses. It bugs the s*it out of me when some people just think they so much better than the rest.
Sorry rant over

Ah yes, you're so right! My poverty is showing
I suppose not finishing school means the parents have to employ a number of specialist servants anyway, and none would dare contradict the genius
Methinks TT is playing billy goats gruff to pass the time naughty naughty
Anyway - I need to know - Is a numpty the same as a muppet? I am definetly a dressage muppet but I think I may be a jumping numpty as 2ft 6 is MASSIVE to me
In terms of hacking - don't forget the demon umbrellas!!!!!

As muppet is one of my favourite non-offensive words I can advise you that it is definately comes above numpty!!
And I'll raise you your hacking umbrellas for a coke can on the verge.......
You have all made your point very clear.
But by making fun of me you are making fun of every other rider with rich parents.
Yes I am from a wealthy background but surely I am proving that I have a good work ethic by working as a groom, ie doing all the horrible labour that comes along with horses, for virtually nothing. I have been called everything under the sun on this forum, and while it must be lovely that all of you are quoting each other and "laughing your heads off", many people on this thread clearly don't have a clue.
I am incredibly lucky that I have come from a good background, and while I regret dropping out of school (many of you seem to delight in this fact) I am doing what I love, and not many of you can say that. All I'm trying to do on this forum is talk to people I would have never otherwise spoken to and try and understand things from another perspective.
And me mocking you lot back has seemed to make you lot madder...I was joking!! Of course I don't think I'm god. Get over it.
Be back in a minute i.m off to be sick. Don,t know if its the jaffa cakes or the bulls**t . We will proberly find out that TT comes from the ghetto and got expelled from school like me because i got caught nicking jaffa cakes from the teachers staff room.!!
Everyone has to start somewhere, I have only read half the replies on the 1st page!
What a snooty thing to suggest!
If little local comps are below you dont bother!
