So since Oakley arrived I have done small bits of groundwork (which I think is so important, as well as showing him un-usual things) and taken him for a few walks in hand, he didn't have the best manners when he arrived, and a few personal space issues but nothing bad, just a typical baby that's been dragged out the field he lived in and sent to this new, strange place!
I decided a while ago that if I had a youngster I'd do some horse agility with it, well turns out there's a place 2 miles up the road that has training/competitions! So I contacted the lady that runs it and arranged for her to come to me and us have a little session before starting the agility at the next one on Jan 15th.
He's such a brave boy curiosity always gets the better of him and rather than run away he goes to check it out, I think already we've got quite a good relationship which is really nice
I think he's great and so glad I took the risk on buying him.
