Devastating and heart-breaking shock for you at a time when the rest of the world is celebrating.... just seems to make it even sadder. I am SO sorry for your loss xxxx

So very sorry to hear of your tragic news at what is meant to be a joyfull time of the year. This must be devestating for you. The most important thing for you to know is that you did the best you could to save your horse and you could have not done any more. Cherrish the happy memories of your time together.

Find your remaining horse a nice permanent companion and introduce them slowly to each other so that neither of them come to any harm.

My sympathies to you at this very sad time.

You are all so lovely. It has been a dreadful day, tears and more tears but family around for comfort has helped.
Tomorrow we go for his Mum (the vet very kindly kept her there today as she was settled) and introduce her to her new companion.
Thank you all so much x x x

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, it's always hard to lose them but it seems particularly hard when its a sudden and traumatic loss.
I know from experience how the support of HHO can help.
I do hope your mare and her new companion settle together, it will give you both something else to think about, to help you get through this difficult time.
