Pidge

Hacked Pidge this morning so he had his breakfast about 12. He was quite sweaty under his saddle so washed him off. Because he was still wet I didn't put a sheet on him, he's not clipped yet, as it was supposed to be quite warm. However brought him in tonight for his tea and normally he doesn't even come up for air, but he had a drink first, and then was like oh there's my tea I suppose I ought to eat it. He then had another drink after eating his tea. He felt cold and his ears were cold too. I did a pinch test on his skin and it was fine so not dehydrated. I put his 100g rambo duo with neck on and turned him out where he went and had another drink. They have been in the past three nights as field so wet and we have also opened up a fresh part of the field three days ago. It's just so not like Pidge to wolf his tea down that I am a little worried - did check him when poo picking and he had warmed up a bit. Feel like a really really BAD mother at the moment.
