Official snow post....for the 2nd time!!

Forecast some today but really dont want it (highs today of -2 degrees, oh joy)!
I am near loughborough in leicstershire atm, back at uni from being home in watford, where there is also no snow

It started to snow here in shropshire half an hour ago but it,s on and off we only have about 1cm a dusting but we had a hard frost so was white all over anyway.
It,s quite frustrating as one miniute it,s clear then another it,s snowing heavy, i am hoping for a good bit of the white stuff as i live on a bank and the sled is waiting for a good deal of action.

Forecast some more heavy snow today and tonight...really really not looking forward to it at all...causes too many probs and I cant drive my car in it either....sometimes wish I hadnt given up my 4x4 now.

Yes we have had snow, About 8 inches at least and its still snowing.
I am In Manchester and in some places around here its really bad, buses have stopped running. All the schools are closes etc etc.
 
Lots of snow here in South Yorkshire and its still snowing, there is about 5 inches on the ground.

Approx 5 inches overnight, accumulated about a foot and a half in the fields now. Between Halifax and Hudds in West Yorks, and yes the horses are out. I can't see an end to this anytime soon... I believe it's unfair to keep them in unless you have decent facilities to exercise them and I'm quite sure they manage in the wild.

4" overnight, and my daughter WILL be going to school, providing the bus can get here. None of this "snow on the playground" mentality here, she wouldn't be going until March otherwise

temp at night has been down to -20
dumfries and galloway scotland.

although where i live we always have bad weather and snow so not unusual for us
 
rubbish - we have had some now - it started about 2.30 and by 3.30 we had about 1cm and roads already rubbish so had to cancel my appointment

also went to shop and there was absolutely nothing on the shelves - its only a bit of snow?!
