Friend rang me yesterday to inform me what Mr M had been up to Tuesday evening when she was down at the yard.

We have a couple or pet sheep and one had got into Mr M's field, must of got under the wire and gone through a few of the other paddocks and ended up in mine.

Anyway YO needed to catch it, so he pulled into the field with his tractor and a crate to put the sheep into, meanwhile all the other livery horses gazed on from the other fields obviously wondering what on earth was going on, kept well away, snorting, blowing and prancing off scared.

Sheepie didn't want to be caught, so poor YO is running round the field like a blue ar*sed fly huffing and puffing trying to catch this sheep, mumbling some swear words as his patience was running out, friend then said on the phone ''isn't your stupid horse scared of anything because all the other horses kept well away but your stupid thing found it all rather interesting.

''yes...go on'' I said nearvously

She then went on to tell me that Mr M decided he wanted to join in on the fun so proceeded to chase after the YO that was chasing the sheep, so poor sheeps running away from YO and poor YO is running away from Mr M! :D

She said it was hilarious and was still laughing about it on the phone, said it was like something out of a Carry On film! all three running around the field but Mackenzie having the last laugh of course.

It gets worse.

Anyway he finally managed to get the sheep, threw it over his back to carry back to the crate, bobbed it in, then walked over to his tractor to get in but Mr M had different ideas, he went over to inspect the sheep meanwhile friend shouts to YO, '' OHHH NOOOO Mackenzie is going after the sheep!'' sheep jumps out and runs for its life

....off they all go again!

YO was not best pleased.

I can't believe she didn't get it all on video. :(

I've yet to hear the YO's version. :D

Hahaha put a smile on my face!!! Sounds like something one of our lot would do too lol. Hope the sheep and farmer's not too traumatised....lol!

We put some sheep in with my old mare, cue one morning her trying to get to the trough with numerous sheep in her way, her answer to calmly pick them up by the fleece with her teeth and move them calmly aside....we moved them she was a bit of a bloody minded old bat:-))
