Ok need 2 watch what i say here as i may be taking legal action against dealer and more so the vet who passed 5 stage vetting 5 wks ago
Long story short i bought from dealer a lovely horse who was under weight with no muscle as he apparently has hunted and been turned away all winter
Apparently a 7yr old gelding ISH the vetting saud 3 lines about few cuts n scrapes but passed but noted microchip number found that wasnt on passport
i got this after the horse arrived
1st thing hes not 7 or ish hes 9 and pure thoroughbred
ok not a huge issue hes so sweet and kind you would love him trust me
potential big prob discovered yesterday that it looks as if i now know why he ALWAYS rests his right hind leg. And stiff on certian rein and pigeon toed. An old fractured pelvis. Was also lame on right hind when looked at lunging.
I am not the best horse person or rider in the world but I took a best friend who has bought and sold a lot and trusted a 5 stage vetting . Im not looking for olimpic but safe and sound with ability to try all aspects whilst I improve. And be my best pal My best pal he is but if this is going to hinder him I have to be brutal and not keep him which is tearing me apart.
Anyone any advise
I have new vet friend uses with their horses coming tomor or sat to hopefully find out what I may or may not be dealing with
The night b4 i found this out i was looking at shows we could enter Not cause were fab and want the glory but cause i want to get better and enjoy my horse now im on hold in case i lose him and have to start looking all over again
