who pays when you need new equipment such as hoses etc?

Tricky to define as there are about 30 liveries so technically an established yard, albeit no real set management, only owners on site.
I would’ve thought a hose would be included in repairs and maintenance however it would seem not strangely enough.
Hoses are tricky, because I didn’t think they could legally be used (to do with waste water and contamination I think)
They can be used but you need a non-return valve fitted so that there can be no back siphoning.
I've been on yards with different approaches. Current place is mainly full liveries with a few DIYs and things like hoses are provided.
Last place was fully DIY and I had my own hose etc.
I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on hoses in the last few years - mostly because liveries let their horses stand on them the whole bloody time. Current one has a large split in it, but I am refusing to replace it.
I dont' have DIY's. I'm just really really cross about my hoses...

Tis the price one pays for lechery!

Was he at least worth the cold shower?
They’re useless. I tried 2 & gave up.I think I would just buy one of those expandable hoses for my own use, there so cheap on eBay and can be stored easily enough.

Absolutely!
He asked for my number, which was very exciting, until he said "so I can call you if we need access to fields with horses in them!
Depends. If it is a hose which was not supposed to be used for washing down, as we have a hose and sign says don't use this one. Then you use it you replace itwho pays when you need new equipment such as hoses etc?
