On Sunday we said Goodbye to Little Lad

Oh how did I not see this?
I am desperately sorry for you and your daughters loss of what was an amazing pony.
He sounds like he taught your lasses about staying on, and they taught him about being loved and wanted.
What a bl00dy lucky little pony.

He was indeed amazing. Your lovely words, thank you darling :)

Oh, I am so sorry Mrs M :-(. What a gorgeous boy he looked to be, stunning and he looks so full of character and mischief in those photos.

Condolences and thoughts to you all, never an easy decision but always the right one to make when the time comes :-( It doesn't make the loss any easier but he is pain free now xxx.

Thank you hunny. Nope, not easy, but no more stressing about is he okay, is he hurt, hope he's alright. Ho hum. Hugs.

So sorry to hear this, even though we know we are doing the right thing it doesn't make it any less painful. Hugs to you and yours, RIP Little Lad.

Thank you hunny. I can't wait to see him at Rainblow Bridge, to see him running free :)

so sorry for your loss Mrs M, words are not enough to express what we feel when we lose a precious friend!!

Thank you. He was indeed a friend. Hugs.

So very sorry Mrs M :( Huge hugs and my thoughts are with you.

Rest in peace beautiful Little Lad, you were blessed to be so loved xx

We were blessed to have him. I didn't always believe it - the time he galloped up the drive with my very beginner D2 on, with me helpless other than yelling "Sit deep! Heels down!" and hoping he'd stop before the tight corner. Or the time D2 rang from someon's house down the other end of the drive - he'd barged out, complete with dark stable rug, on a winter's evening and D2 had gone running after him! But in the end, we could stand and cuddle and he whinnied when he saw us :)

Oh Mrs M I am so sorry :(

My thoughts are with you all. Rest in peace Little Lad x

Thank you darling. Hugs to you.

Mrs Mozart: am so sad to hear that LL's time had come, but am delighted to know that his life truly began again with you and your daughters, and that you all had the strength, heart and generosity to let him go when he told you he'd had enough. What a mature, thoughtful pair of girls you've raised Mrs M! I hope Merlin's still nibbling those apples and carrots in the sun at Rainbow Bridge, and is enjoying stretching the healthy legs of his youth once again in eternal pastures. Big hugs m'dear x
