On to the next place Puppy Pearl

My lovely old friend puppy Pearl has just gone on to the next place she was 16 .
A pup to the end She had some sort of heart related episode earlier this evening it was dramatic she was PTS on my lap in front of the AGA .
A happy merry lab she was mainly famous as an epic raider of bins .

Thank you all for your kindness .
We where preparing supper which was left over beef it was Dexter so there was lots of fat so MrGs was giving them bits suddenly she just sort half reared up swirled on spot pooed herself and collapsed she could not get up and was having spasms a bit like a fit .
We used a towel as sling and got to the aga and sat with my on my lap .
I called the vet who came .
Vet says it looked like some sort of heart related issues she certain had very little circulation and it was hard to get the drug in but she was calm throughout on my lap she has stayed with the vet all her life if we are away so it was perfect for her .
If any one hears of a Labrador bitch in need of a home pm me (needs not to be a cat killer ).

So sorry GS. 16 is an astonishing age for a large dog.

She was a small lab ,Killi who died last year was large and just shy of 17 .
it’s quiet in here to day the others are subdued and she did take alot of care as she got older so I am a bit lost .
