So Conn is (possibly was) all better from abscess and swollen leg and back in canter work so was allowed out today. All went really well apart from galloping round the field this evening and my main issue:
He has to have boots on to protect his legs now BUT they're knocking the scab off his leg. Is there any way to prevent them from rubbing the scab off? I tried to bandage underneath with melolin and softban but it just fell off as cant stay up on its own
The scab is about 2 cm in diameter max and situated on the inside of his near hind, right on his fetlock.
Thanks!
