I only ask as you are so helpful!!! Would like your opinions on the horse and idea of how much.

Ok, so 16.2hh 5 year old reg ID mare

Has an old splint which is on the last vet certificate and passed. Also noticed one hock is bigger than the other? No heat or tenderness? Does that count as a capped hock? If so is that likely to get better/worse? That wasn't on the last vetting report.

Quite green it would seem but has 8 BD points? Apparently done very little jumping. Generally a quiet horse

What do you think? How much would you expect to pay? How bad is a possible capped hock?
 
Incredibly weak behind and I'd be amazed if she stayed sound for any nlength of time. God those hind cannons just make me cringe!!
 
I'm not sure if she's 100% sound in front on the video. Plus in the pics the back end is the obvious weak point. £4000 if she's sound but there are plenty of nicer horses IMO.
 
I think shes quite nice- although my fist comment was a shortish neck and not tracking up correctly. And is it the right hind with the bigger hock?

She looks mice onough but nothing special- but was wondering why she had a vets cert already? How much are they asking
Couldnt really see the feet as in the top pic the sun is shining so bright I can make out their outline!
 
hadnt watched the vid wen posted last reply, on viewing that i would also say she is unsound.
 
Nice looking mare but with clearly a lot of growing/strengthening to do and a swollen hock she is a bit of a gamble- also she doesn't seem 100% sound in the video so I personally would keep looking. Sorry.
 
Re watched the video (to actually look at whole horse and not just leg movement) to see what the others had said. Ican see why they are saying she looks unsound. how did she feel to ride?
 
She didn't feel lame. The round was very hard and uneven. I actually liked her but I'm rubbish on confo hence asking here. Thought you would like this one!
 
I'm no expert... but I don't think she looks sound in front, but it could be the video as it keeps shaking? Am afraid I don't like her

Have you thought about going to a reputable dealer that imports from ireland? Might be worth a look?

She is lame. Right fore, I think (although its hard to be certain from a video). Doesn't look 100% behind either. And bad conformation to boot. Move on.
 
Having seen a photo of it I really would look elsewehere F, coupled with the fact she's been bought and returned I would wonder if she was 'too much' for the previous buyer because she was in pain.....

couldnt really dislike it more, she is shockingly put together, i groaned as soon as i saw the first pic.
