Opinions on 'horses being horses'....

My horse is a very mard TB who is rugged at night in a summer sheet! He goes out in a fly rug or a lightweight TO if raining as he is so unhappy if he gets wet and the flies bug him so much he jumps over the gate! At night it is a bit to chilly for him and he diggs his bed up and chucks it over himself if he is cold so it is easier all round to put a summer sheet on at the minute when it gets a bit warmer he is naked!
 
My horse lives out rugless in the summer. Sometimes if the weather forecast is bad I'll put a rainsheet on.
Bearing in mind that this horse is really easy to catch, if I go out there carrying a rug then she won't let me near.
If I put the rug down she lets me walk straight up to her even though 2 seconds ago she was keeping her distance.

Think she's telling me something!

Bless him!!!!! But I bet he's not clipped in summer so you have to rug him, like the ones in original post!!!!

Whoever said 'if only they could talk'?? I don't think they need to, your mare obviously has brilliant powers of comunication!! Love it!!!!
