Opinions on this pony please (inc vid).

Hummm, I'm not sure if I should say too much!

He is stunning, sweet and genuine. No need for the kimblewick, I hardly touched the reins. BUT, that video was taken when the current owners were trying him in his previous home  lets just say that he needs lots of schooling just to get him back to how he was in the vid!

Oh dear... what have they done to him - I was thinking he may be recoverable as he appeared on the footage shown. Not so sure he'll come good if he's lost it completely. What a shame. I'd be thinking a few hundred quid...

Wasn't a lot of fun for that little girl was it? And she looks like a nice little rider too.Beggars belief that anyone could buy it for her when she clearly looked so nervous (or sell it to them either for that matter). Both pony and child have suffered.

eahotson that was exactly what I thought, she looks a really nice rider lovely and quiet but nervous with it so that never seemed a good combination

hmmm, I think he was at 4k the first time I saw him on horsemart, def 3 anyway so apparently back to that tack.

I did assume that given his previous record that the likely paid decent money for him in the first instance.

he is really gorgeous, looks so unhappy in his mouth though. Wonder if he might be funny about his mouth for a while even when dropped down in bit strength. Must admit that he wouldn't be for me - I don't think I could handle how forwards and stressed out he looks with enough calm and confidence! If you are a chilled out confident rider with gentle hands then I reckon you have a pretty good chance of having a really fab pony at the end of a load of relaxed schooling!

In the video he goes a lot like one of my mares. She's currently being reschooled after having everything checked, and despite being 17 years old, we're getting there. We can now walk and trot nicely, and canter in an outline, but only with massively extended strides lol!!!!!

Are you still wondering whether to have him OP???

I like :D :D :p

I still v.much like him too! If I wasn't 5ft10 and 14 again....I'd love a pony like him :) He's identical jumping wise to my first pony when she's all fit and fizzy. Nothing ever nasty about it, just loving her job and typical competition welshy attitude!

^^ Ditto.

Heseems like he'd just be one of them ponies where going back to a snaffle and just learning to sit there quietly and ride him from your body rather than bitting.

No, I have found something else. Although I really liked him, I am not in a position to have something that needs sorting out (he was not advertised as a project originally and he went nothing like he did in the video, Naza also tried him and can confirm this). But I would like to see this pony go to a sympathetic home that really suits him.
