Well it's been a very busy 4 or 5 months (lost count!) of schooling Oscar and watching him transform in to an even more lovely pony than he already was ! For those who don't know, I made a stupid decision to have him shipped over unseen and not even vetted
I'd just seen a few videos of his movement and examples of his temperament. That stupid decision turned out to be a very good decision as I ended up with the most lovely pony I have ever come across, so willing and loving in every way.
So this is what arrived off the lorry.. I haven't posted these before as I forgot I had them! A skinny, exhausted but calm 5 year old
Very hungry!
He still hadn't muscled up much, but within 8 weeks he looked fantastic
Bad photo but here he is sporting his first clip!
Apart from doing lots of hacking, he has been to a few small shows, jumped 2ft on his first outing and only had one refusal at a double so he came 5th. He then won his accumulator (up to 3ft) a few weeks later, and recently came 4th In a 2'6 in a large class of almost 30!
Here he is jumping double clear

And as he is so sensible I decided to try riding with no tack... he got the idea in a few minutes and here is the result!

And a before and after video, including clips from our first ride.
