"SUPER PONY!
Mare, 7 years, 148 centimetres
Full up 148cm

Betty has 3 lovely established paces and is very willing with an easy snaffle mouth.

She has a wonderful competent jump that gives a safe and fun feel.

Her natural round way of going makes her a fabulous dressage pony too.

Perfect temperament, well mannered.

A serious competition pony looking for a young jockey to compete in top dressage, show jumping and eventing. Would make FEI eventing pony

Quality, quality, quality!!!

£10,000 ono"

I could be totally wrong as she could have quite a few BS winnings, but they don't mention that or anything, and she's in the Affiliated SJ ponies, under the JD category.. so, just me or a little bit overpriced? Sorry, very bored as have been home sick! :p xx

Really good ponies of this height, especially if full up LHC 14.2hh, do go for an awful lot of money.

Sorry but thats mega bucks for a pony without a seriously amazing comp record - as a jd ill be suprised if they get that sort of price.

If she is seven and has amazing potential yet has not done anything at all, not even some unaffiliated competitions, I would be wondering why. Fair enough to ask that money if a pony has had some success already and looks like it will go to the top.

Edited to add: just found the ad and they don't even give any decent photos to back up the claims - just a very dark and blurry photo of it jumping in the school and you can't even see how high the jump actually is. And no flatwork or XC photos at all!

That does sound overpriced to me unless they can back it up with BS winnings, a list of comps and placings etc. I would be very interested to know what response they have had as my pony is for sale and has experience and BS winnings etc and he is priced less than that (although he is older) and I have hardly had anyone phone up about him.

Also just looked up the ad and would say it does not encourage you to believe the claims. Very blurry photo that shows very little. If pony has a record then would like to see a record.
