Feeling quite lucky tonight.

Earlier I lead my fella through a paddock with a big Frisky sports horse who is turned out on his own. Normally I square up to him if he comes over and tell him "no" which is enough to control him, but not today.

He was foolig around in the other side of my boy (who blocks out the sun so i couldn't see what he was doing) then suddenly he comes skipping around in front of him, turns his back end on me and wallop - I'm down like a sack of spuds.

Thinking I have a reptured test-i-clay I let go of the boy and generally go down like a sack of the preverbial. Got back up smarting a little, but thinking I must be made of iron, 'cause he caught me square at the top of the thigh and I don't feel that ominous urge to call the overfamiliar ambulance.

Went to ring yard owner, got my blackberry out of my pocket and saw it was rebooting. He had only hit square on it, and it still worked - although it has had a bit of a relapse since. I think an i-phone would have not held up so well, and probably added to the ever growing list of stitches I have had.

2 inches to the left and I would be singing in a different octave.

Ouch, I've been double barrelled and I was glad I was a girl at the time :(

Blackberry's are bloody tough, mine's been launched across the yard into a puddle by a fat arsed cob and was totally fine after drying out :D

Not nice having to go through another paddock, especially with a horse behaving like that :(

Yard owner would have moved him if I had asked, but being a typical bloke thought I was tough enough! that showed me. Horse has been moved now.

I'm just a sucker for a playful chestnut :)

Ouch! I had an iphone and now HTC, I have concluded that horse people need buttons! Touch screens are not practical with gloves and all those likely smashes!

Scary moment for you - glad your OK :)
Im a big Apple / iphone fan but I do get the P taken out of me as my iphone is covered up by an otter box - resembling a recycled car tyre, def not cool !

Yep I can vouch for the toughness of the BB. Dropped it down the stairs this morning, it bounced its way down smacked into the wall and then skittered neatly into the cats water dish. Mopped it up and its fine :)

Ouch! Hope you're ok!
I have an iPhone and it has gone through a lot! Dropped it in the water trough, dropped it on concrete face down, my horse has licked and bit it numerous times and a lot more random things :P It is protected to the max though ;) Wouldn't dare take off my case & screen protector hehe! It's pants in winter though!!

Well my iphone has been run over by a tractor on one occasion, and our land rover and trailer on another (it was behind front wheel of car so would have been run over 3 times!) and Im pleased to say it lives to tell the tale. I drop it atleast every day and lose it a lot!

If your iPhone screen does break do not worry all is not lost the back costs via eBay £5 to replace the front touchscreen if I remember correctly no more than £15. I dropped mine on snowdon back only broke was dead worried at the time needn't of been was dead easy to replace
