Feeling quite lucky tonight.
Earlier I lead my fella through a paddock with a big Frisky sports horse who is turned out on his own. Normally I square up to him if he comes over and tell him "no" which is enough to control him, but not today.
He was foolig around in the other side of my boy (who blocks out the sun so i couldn't see what he was doing) then suddenly he comes skipping around in front of him, turns his back end on me and wallop - I'm down like a sack of spuds.
Thinking I have a reptured test-i-clay I let go of the boy and generally go down like a sack of the preverbial. Got back up smarting a little, but thinking I must be made of iron, 'cause he caught me square at the top of the thigh and I don't feel that ominous urge to call the overfamiliar ambulance.
Went to ring yard owner, got my blackberry out of my pocket and saw it was rebooting. He had only hit square on it, and it still worked - although it has had a bit of a relapse since. I think an i-phone would have not held up so well, and probably added to the ever growing list of stitches I have had.
2 inches to the left and I would be singing in a different octave.
