Because I know enough about certain other areas to be able to comment, unlike yourself who has no experience about any aspect of fieldsports but wont let it stop you commenting............Carreg
But we have it on the authority of Carreg, no less, that legal coursing is still possible. Why then the need for the mass slaughter of hares? Is the answer really "to cull the entire population, or as many as possible"? This is just spite.
You're posting for the sake of posting now, and getting very tedious, farmers Im sure feel no spite towards the hares and remember its them NOT the coursing clubs that are having the hares shot.......'As with the rest of the hunting act very little thought was put into what would happen to the quarry species when hunting/coursing was banned, luckily for the animals concerned the Govt made such a pigs ear of the legislation we are still able to hunt and conserve animals in England and Wales'...........Carreg
Your ignorance is showing thru again, theres a vast difference between coursing clubs and a few dedicated coursing individuals who are prepared to use certain loopholes to continue coursing............Carreg
The subject of this thread is hare coursing, you should know you started it, whether I ride or not is irrelevant to the thread so we'll just leave it at that............Carreg
"I hope you shot at it before you allowed the dogs to course it..........."
Absolutely not, for me shooting is not an option, it's not that I have any huge objection to it, it's just that I don't personally actually want to kill the animal so I can't see the point.
What's more I have no gun, just some dogs.
Children wander round my farm and I feel that guns are a lot more dangerous than dogs.
