Im starting a petition to bring back chariot racing....now that WOULD be entertaining. In fact Id be up for that if it makes the 2012 Games.

What happened to 3 refusals and out? Have the tetrathlon rules been softened up to allow for incompetent riding?

Personally, the clip I saw I found disgusting and abusive, and a mockery of all that is good in horse sport.

JM07 may take a "robust" attitude to this sort of abuse, but I think this attitude will backfire on the rest of us; for every one who thinks this is a bit of a laugh, like the BBC commentator, there will be someone else recognising that this ISN'T the way to treat horses & writing out their subscription for PETA.

The things JM07 lists as being real cruelty are universally condemned, and no one actually thinks they are acceptable, even while they go on. The stuff I watched today, however, was not just being treated as acceptable, it was being showcased as representative of what is best in horse sport; and that reflects on all of us.

JM07 seems to be telling the rest of us to get real, but sorry, JM07- if it wasn't likely to get me banned, I'd like to tell you where to stuff your version of reality!

It's PENTATHLON........not TETRATHLON...2 different things entirely..
