I have a lovely little loaner for my horse, she is wonderful, super keen, gentle and rides my boy with light touch and is a general all round good egg
It is her birthday soon, and I would like to take her out with the horse to do something fun. I initially thought about Aintree, as i know they run these 'pony fun days' in the school holidays (they do all kinds of things, mounted games, clear rounds, hunter trails etc) and i have friends whose children have attended although these children were 10 and 8 so maybe a little bit young for a very nearly 13 year old! But, in any case Aintree is closed now for the National until May, so that plan is scrapped anyway.
So what would a young teen like to do... are there pony days run by anyone other than the pony club?
She is not a pony club member, and i cant really take her out to a little show (even though i know she would LOVE that) as she hasnt got any of the correct dress required, and she is a tiny wee slip of a thing, so my clobber isnt going to fit her!
So i need a bit of help please, what would a nearly 13 year old like to do for a day with 'her' horse??
Many thanks!
