+++ Out of Cheese Error +++
Afternoon all. A friend of mine is looking for a new horse and she's been talking about Percherons for a while. She has a (retired) Clydie so is no stranger to draft breeds, but has never actually ridden a percheron. There's not many on the market (unsurprisingly) and even fewer which meet her specifications (big and youngish
) so it's a bit hit or miss trying to find one to try it...
We were talking about how it would make sense for her to ride one or two before looking seriously (i.e. before waiting around for one for ages / wasting seller's time etc.) - just to be 100% sure that she really wants one / that she wouldn't be better looking for a Clyde-cross or something different. Now for why I'm rambling on here:
I know there are places which specialise in Clydes and Shires etc where you can hack out on them etc - is there anywhere which has Percherons you can ride?
Bit of a random question and probably not well expressed, the world's a bit upside down right now as I had a disagreement with my cob and concussed myself last night
So please excuse any irregularities in the ramblingness of this post
