Pessoa copies?

Have been thinking for a while about investing in a pessoa but, even on Ebay, they aren't very cheap. Has anyone got one of the look-a-like copies and are they any good. Or better still, anyone got an unwanted pessoa in the depths of their tackroom they would like to sell?;)
 
i bought a copy this time last year when my horse went for his kissing spines op, i have used it loads and it is still in really good condition so will fully recommend, it is exactly the same as the real thing just a more practical colour! I bought it from eileen douglas saddlery online, it is still £40, but much cheaper than the original pessoa!

I have a pessoa copy!!! It looks fine, actually got it for xmas last year. But have not even got it out packet!

So weird you made this post though as I plan to use it for the first time ever tomorrow!! :o :o
 
I have one and I have been able to compare it to a real one - main difference seems to be that the bit that passes around their haunches is made from elastic in the fake and made from rubber in the real one. My instructor has a real one and she has lunged my horse in the fake and said she feels there is no difference!
 
I got the John Whitaker Version, different colour ropes which helps when putting it on and also included the roller thing. I thought it worked out at very good value all in...
 
I bought the copy form Eileen Douglas Tackshops and am really happy with it, works the same as The Pessoa but 1/2 the price! Sensible colour too.
